Mustang
We lost Mustang tonight. Almost 14, the heart murmur he was born with finally caught up. It shouldn't have been a shock, but was as he seemed to be improving. Rest now big fella, your shift is over, play with Steve and Rocco ❤️💔🌈

Here is one of Mr Mustang and me from his walk to the marina this evening.
He is starting to struggle now, but he still loves his walks, and foraging for 🦆💩

This photo, 13 years old today, is still my favourite picture of Mr. Mustang. He's really aging now - but is just as cuddly.

Really like this photo of me and Moo. I'd just turned back from my trip to Watford as he was ill, so picked him up and took him for a walk.

I didn't make it to Watford today, I had to return home as Mustang was unwell. Here he is with Ruairidh a week ago. He's not long left now, but he still seems to be happy.

Mustang has not had a good day with his heart murmur while I've been at the office today, but he had a nice walk when I got home, and has been a little better since. Seeing the vet tomorrow, selfishly hoping he has a little time left yet, but he is fragile.

Today's centrefold is Professor Mustang, climbing up for a cuddle at almost 14, while Stevie photobombs with his backside.

It is unusual to find four of our canine children sat on the same sofa as each other. My colleagues were treated to this scene behind me this afternoon.

Here is Mr. Mustang sniffing around in front of Barden marina today. We were very worried about him last night, but my old man is doing much better today.

Mr Mustang just climbed in for a cuddle. He’s been with me nearly 13 years now, and while his murmur has started to play up, he’s still hanging on in there.

Here is Professor Mustang enjoying his physiotherapy session at Stanley House yesterday. MooMin loves being massaged. 🔖#dailyDog

I popped into Barden Marina with Mr Moo on his lunchtime walk today. We've lived within 400m for over 6 years now, and yet it is the first time that we have been further than the gate. The marina on the Leeds-Liverpool Canal, near the former Barden Mill, benefits from Pendle Hill lurking in the background, and I'm also told that the Swan & Goose bistro is very good (I've not been in). 🔖#burnley #exploring #leedsLiverpoolCanal

Photos of my two eldest on their walks today. Mustang posing infant of the new trees planted at Disraeli Park, and bayLee in front of the bus depot in Burnley. 🔖#podencos #dogsOfMastodon #Burnley

🐕 Mustang invading my timeline for the second time in a week.
Here he is in a t-shirt to protect a really nasty wound that the emergency vet has just stapled up.

🐕 Mustang does not make it into my site very often, as he’s usually busy just being old and sleeping these days.
Here is yesterday, posing in front of Burnley bus depot in Disraeli Park.

🐕📷 Full house! all of our canine children, sitting patiently for snacks.

🐕📷 Prof. Mustang has been really struggling for mobility - not improving, not degenerating.
🐕 Baby Fearghus loves Professor MooMin… so much so that he just sits on him until Moo overheats.
