Roadmap

I thought it would be useful, mainly for me, to set out a list of improvements that I want to make to this site now that the migrations from previous 11ty and Kirby CMS sites is now complete.

• The import has missed pages stored in original digital garden, need to investigate importing these, and how best to structure as they are supposed to be evergreen content. n.b. Kev's books page approach.
• Update webrings, directories and internet phonebook.
• Rebuild and update other static pages like ~~about, colophon, privacy etc~~.
• Following Kev's instructions here:
  1. Automate titles of micro, snap, and clip posts from timestamp - but NOT log or article posts.
  2. Explore direct posting to mastodon as option to replace echofeed.
  3. Identify how to exclude log posts from site feed.
• Rebuild running routes page from 11ty build now activities are all imported.
• Create a list of redirects from lee-perry.co.uk either using .htaccess or redirects from cPanel. currently articles only - I maye extend to micropost formats and log
• Need to fix styling of webmention avatars which has been squashed by styling changes made in creating galleries.
• Want to come up with a way of using first image in any post as the card image on social share.
• Similarly when description is blank want to use the first 100 characters of the content as social share description.
• Need to fix my earlier clip embeds, which are scaling to maybe half the available width.
• I have an export of Komments comments, which I need to investigate importing into the PureComments sqlite database.
• Come up with a way of converting embeded nocookie youtube links into video embeds.

Anything else? Lemme know...
