Burnley 1-1 Derby County

Another disappointing afternoon at Turf Moor.

Taking the lead from a Zeki Amdouni header in the first half, we never really looked like adding to the tally.

Derby always looked more threatening, and the equaliser eventually came in injury time, Fuseini firing across into the bottom right corner infront of the Cricket Field Stand. Coudert in goal had an otherwise solid league debut, but could do nothing as the ball seemed to be heading wide before spinning awkwardly inside the post.

Steve Martin had an appalling game with the whistle, and fell for all of the gnarly traits of a Eustace team.

Good to see Charlie Taylor back on the Turf, less so to see him hobble off toward the end.

With three weeks to the next game, now is as logical a point as there is in the season to change course on the manager. I think it would be a shame were Hayen to depart, the performance have not been great, but they have been much more entertaining than last season, just lacking any real nouse in front of goal, and completely naivety in front of the other one.
