Back on the track at Seedhill tonight for more pain. Thankfully an icy shower just passed through.

Our Wednesday hill-rep sessions have moved up to Alkincoats Park for the summer. This week's consisted of 600m and 800m endurance reps that were super tough!

Lovely evening for first wednesday summer hill-rep session out back of Alkincoats Park from HHP.

Missed the memo about no holiday training, I only use the facecrook for my running club and did not see the message.
Decided I might as well run anyway, taking a huge 7 minutes off my PR on this route, beating all of my segment times other than the top half of the final climb up Harrison Drive.

Evening club run on a variant of the main Trawden loop from HHP. Moving really well, stride feels longer, and bouncier, on legs that should not be fresh resting into racing HM on Sunday.

Vickie returned from Spain, so I could run, choosing my as I'm easing off for a half marathon next weekend. Super happy with pace - my fastest ever on this route, fastest 10km this year.

15s/30s/60s/120s/120s/60s/30s/15s evil hill rep pyramid with Molly up Lenches Road in Colne. The 120s reps were especially lactic, but largely coped well.

Back outside the Admiral Lord Rodney in Colne, ready for our weekly hill session.
Much lighter and warmer than a week ago.

Stretching out my hamstrings after yesterday's long run, on TAC's Laneshawbridge long route from HHP.

Extending my weekly long run out onto my original Padiham loop. My first loop around this in 4 years, and also my fastest despite the controlled effort.

Back out for a monday night club run on the Langroyd Short route - my legs felt surprisingly fresh after yesterday.
Kicking off the afternoon extending my Nelson Skline run up to the top of Briercliffe. Tough going on tired legs.
My first dance at the Pendle Parkrun, and the frst time I've seen Alkincoats Park in daylight. Muddy and hilly, but decent time.
6x800m track session, could not hold onto the main group, but felt consistent and strong.

First run over my Nelson Skyline route in a few years, and one of my fastest. Struggled a little into the wind on second climb, otherwise solid running.
Spent most of tonight's run managing my asthma round the Walton Lane (Short) route through sleet, just missing a delug at the end.
Back out on the Blacko short route with TAC, my first run of the year on this route, and our fastest to date.
Felt undefuelled, so shortened my run to match last week. Felt much stronger over the hill, and ended up a good 6 minutes faster for similar RPE.
