Happy fedi new year, from our canine overlords.

Mr Mustang just climbed in for a cuddle. He’s been with me nearly 13 years now, and while his murmur has started to play up, he’s still hanging on in there.

Here is Mr. BayLee, getting in his last swim of the year last night at Canine Health & Hydro, Rimington.

Here’s Fearghus out on his first walk in several months today. He’s doing well now, thought not without a fright or two in that time.

Office dogs photo of the day, here's bayLee (Ibicenco) and Leo (Andaluz) pretending not to like each other on the sofa.

While I make my way very slowly back to Burnley, Caoimhe has switched off the German Shepherd guarding instinct to get in some rest. How gorgeous?

Stevie, watching over his hens - much like Rocco used to do. ❤️

Here is a picture of Fearghus with Marvin, at the beginning of his treatment that he is recovering well from.

Stevie pretending that he did not actually mean to sneak off into bed, again - I might forgive him if my attempt at automated hashtags in this post works.

Mr bayLee seems to approve of the fresh linen this morning, I will be in trouble later.

I missed some Podenco cuteness while I was out today. Leo decided to spend the evening sat on Stevie.

Taking wee Fearghus to the small animal hospital to collect his drugs. His diagnosis is a tough one, but now we can start to get him well.

Princess Caoimhe seems impressed with her new cushions.

Here is Professor Mustang enjoying his physiotherapy session at Stanley House yesterday. MooMin loves being massaged. 🔖#dailyDog

4 weeks and a day to go, and Caoimhe is so excited she had to drag Leo for a peek at the Turf this morning. Who else cannot wait for next season? 🔖#eflChampionship #football #burnleyFC #podencos #dailyDog

I popped into Barden Marina with Mr Moo on his lunchtime walk today. We've lived within 400m for over 6 years now, and yet it is the first time that we have been further than the gate. The marina on the Leeds-Liverpool Canal, near the former Barden Mill, benefits from Pendle Hill lurking in the background, and I'm also told that the Swan & Goose bistro is very good (I've not been in). 🔖#burnley #exploring #leedsLiverpoolCanal

Mr Leo on squirrel sentry duty during this mornings patrol, with Caoimhe behind.

With all of the Podenco blanket dwelling and hide and seek, it's really not unusual to lose a dog or two in our house. Here is a prime example of what can only be described as 'shithousery' from Stevie last night. 🔖#podencos #dogsOfMastodon
A quick shot of Caoimhe and Leo from their morning walk today on the Leeds Liverpool Canal near Reedley Marina. Caoimhe is getting excited about a potential breakfast top-up on the tow-path. 🔖#podencos #dailydog

We had a bit of a house move around at the weekend as Mustang can not get up stairs.
Here are bayLee and Stevie sunbathing in bed, in the living room / office. 🔖#podencos #dogsofmastodon #officeDogs

A short vide of bayLee Podenco 🐕 in the pool at Canine Health & Hydro, Howgill Farm.
I'm super excited that he's is really responding to his rehabilitation regime, and to the thyroxine, and it looks like he is even starting to like the water!

BayLee has been receiving hydrotherapy and Klaser treatment for a back condition recently, as well as medication for his recently diagnosed underactive thyroid. Here is a video of him swimming at Howgill Farm.

🐕 Mr bayLee is doing much better.

That has made a huge difference to his pain levels, treating the underlying underactive thyroid we’ve found should help to reverse further. Along with gratuitous Mr Leo hugs.

🐕 Podencos in their natural environment. BayLee looking perplexed at Stevie’s S-Club 7 audition.

🐕 In our mission towards net zero, we have invented an energy free dishwashing technique. Little Fearghus will even climb in to ensure the quality of clean to the reverse surface.

🐕 Mustang invading my timeline for the second time in a week.
Here he is in a t-shirt to protect a really nasty wound that the emergency vet has just stapled up.

🐕 Mustang does not make it into my site very often, as he’s usually busy just being old and sleeping these days.
Here is yesterday, posing in front of Burnley bus depot in Disraeli Park.
